School’s out for a week so now’s the time to get out and have fun! Whether you’re a toddler, kid, teenager or Adult there’s something for you to do in Brownsville. Start out by exploring the Mitte Cultural District, home to the Gladys Porter Zoo, the Children’s Museum of Brownsville, and so much more. If you love Outdoor Adventures you’ll have to check out our Hike & Bike Trails and our State Park. Since you probably don’t want the learning to stop, visit one of our many museums, which includes a national park, and the home of the founder of Brownsville. Love community theater and the arts? Then head on over to the Camille Playhouse to see what’s playing. When you’re done there you can view the latest art exhibit at the Brownsville Musuem of Fine Art. Sometimes the best vacation is a quiet and relaxing day. In that case, enjoy the day by taking a guided tour of the area or spending it at Boca Chica Beach.
