Scale House Visitors Center

Located in the heart of the Mitte Cultural District the Scale House Visitors Center not only serves as a satellite office for the Brownsville Convention & Visitors Bureau, but is a mini-hub for the cultural district. Stop by and learn about all there is to see and do in Brownsville.

According to a 2014 The Brownsville Herald article “a 1930 fire insurance map identified [the building] as a “scale house” for Turner Company Growers & Processing.”
