Vendor Registration Form
This year the PCI Coalition is collaborating with the US Border Patrol of Fort Brown to raise awareness of the rebuilding of shattered lives of survivors affected by line-of-duty deaths through partnerships with law enforcement and the community.
“Each year, between 140 and 160 officers are killed in the line of duty and their families and co-workers are left to cope with the tragic loss. C.O.P.S. provides resources to help them rebuild their shattered lives. (www.nationalcops.org)”.
The U.S. Border Patrol and partners have collaborated to host “Back the Blue” in efforts to raise awareness of the families who that have had to endure the ultimate sacrifice. 90% of the proceeds will go directly to the organization C.O.P.S to continue to sustain their support programs, retreats, and efforts to comfort the families who have lost their lives in the line-of-duty. The remaining 10% of the proceeds will go to the PCI Coalition in efforts to sustain their youth group program aimed to prevent underage drinking and prescription drug abuse. Engaging our youth early allows them to build leadership skills and communicate effectively to raise awareness of the challenges they face on a daily basis.

Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival @ Municipal Auditorium Complex
Nov 8 – Nov 12 all-day

Welcome to the Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival’s 24th consecutive birding festival!

This year our Festival dates are November 8-12, with exciting new pre-  and post-trips surrounding the Festival. Online registration will open August 1st at 12 noon CDT, so for now, please check out our seminars & workshops, field trips and activities.  Download the field trip worksheet if a schedule overview is helpful as you organize your trips.  Once again, the Kiskadee Pass will be offered during open registration as a blanket entry to all seminars and workshops.   Click on the button at the bottom of this page if you aren’t already subscribed to our list for hot news flashes!  Open registration will end on October 18th at 5 pm.  Gather your birding flock, and get registered!

Situated in the middle of the Rio Grande Valley, Harlingen is the ideal location to venture from for excellent birding. Within 90 minutes are dry, desert habitats to the west, and the coastal habitats are only 60 minutes to the east, with a riparian ribbon along the entire southern boundary. For 23 years running, the Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival has provided thousands of birders with live birds, those we call the “RGV Specialties”. Professional tour guides lead every trip, whether bus or van, with a low participant-to-guide ratio to provide excellent spotting and identification. Over 60 vendors of bird-related products can delight every level of birder at the Birders Bazaar, and their contributions to the Silent Auction make that event very exciting. We offer great birds, excellent guiding, educational seminars, rousing socials, and FUN! Ask anybody who has been here before!

REGISTRATION FEE: A charge of $25 will be automatically included in each registration for processing and administration. This non-refundable fee is required for every registrant and is termed a Registration Fee.

KISKADEE PASS: An all-event ticket has been created to save on individual pricing of seminars, workshops and keynote speakers. Choose the Kiskadee Pass option for $25 when you select your field trips in order to get into all educational activities. These savings will only be available during the open registration period. Individual pricing for seminars and workshops will be in effect after October 18, so be sure to select the Kiskadee Pass on your registration form!

Beginner:
Beginners are always welcome on all trips.  Some sites are easier for new birders to spot birds and enjoy their trip.
