Mobile Recreation Unit: Summer Tour 2019 @ Harry E. McNair Park
The Mobile Recreation (MRU) Program brings the parks to the kid–especially those in urban areas where there may not be a park, or have trouble getting transportation to the closest park.
Our Fun movable unit, includes inflatable water slide, portable basketball hoops, tricycles, hula hoops, arts and crafts supplies, and an assortment of other outdoor recreational equipment.  Our staff is friendly and available to help you with questions about park programs and information.
Families, friends, neighbors, are all invited and there is ZERO cost to come out and play.
If frisbee and soccer are not your game, we also host Block Parties.
We bring the music, the games, and the snacks.  All we ask is that you stop by and have a great time.
Mobile Recreation is part of the Brownsville Parks and Recreation Youth Development Programs.
