Our spring-time version of Oktoberfest will once again feature a winning combination of German draft beers, live German Polka & American rock music, German food, and entertainment for all ages.

Our Volksfest, meaning people’s festival, is kid friendly! Starting at 3pm, we will have activities for your young ones! Dance performances, games, and German drinking chants will get us going into the night, ending at 11pm.

Regular admission is $15 and includes a printed glass beer mug and one free beer. However, your beer ticket can also be used for wine or food, if you prefer. Free admission for ages 18 and under!

Take photography to the next level in this fast-paced digital photography workshop designed for those who want to move past the basics, and build on their existing technical and creative skills. In our introductory course, participants learned the basics of what makes a great photograph, and how to set up their shots. Our intermediate course takes things one step further with advanced shooting techniques, a study of more complex lighting issues, and how to successfully produce high-quality, professional photographs.

The skills learned in this course will help participants develop their own unique way of looking at the world through the camera lens. Participants will further develop their own unique personal style and navigate the complexity of planning, shooting, and editing photographs whether they are interested in exploring this as a hobby, or looking to become working photographers.

As we know from mythology, Sisyphus was a cruel Greek king whose punishment entailed pushing a gi-ant rock up a steel hill, only to find it rolling back down when he neared to the top.
