The Evolution of the Rebozo @ Costumes of the Americas Museum  | Brownsville | Texas | United States

The Consulate of Mexico at Brownsville and the Costumes of the Americas, is pleased to extend to you a cordial invitation to join us for the opening exhibit “The Evolution of the Rebozo” on Monday, November 27th, at 5:30pm at the Costumes of the Americas Museum located at #5 Dean Porter Park, 501 E. Ringgold St. Brownsville, TX.

The guest speakers for this event are Hermilo Lopez Izquierdo and his wife Rosalia Bringas Diaz, who will be explaining the different techniques used to make each rebozo as well as how they have maintained it relevant until today. Mr. Lopez and his wife are from Tenancingo, State of Mexico, a city known for the production of beautiful rebozos.
