Saturday Safari: River Giants

Enroll your child for Saturday morning fun at the Zoo. You can join, too! Lurking among the plants in the water is a master hunter ready to pounce and devour an unsuspecting fish. Alligator gar are common in fresh waters in the southern U.S. and can grow up to 10 feet in length. A Zoo tour, arts & crafts, animal encounter and snacks are included in each class. Cost is $15 per child or adult with a $5 discount for Zoo members (ages 4 and up). Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
