This Religious Iconography Exhibit is centered on the artistic expression of religious themes. This collection, in major part, is the private property of BHA employee, Eugene Fernandez. Items within this collection were gathered over a twenty-year period range from Mexican retablos (on both copper and canvas) from the mid-seventeen hundreds, to the mid-20th century, with a heavy concentration of early nineteen hundred productions. The medium spans works of carved wood, bronze, brass, canvass, lithography, and sterling silver.
This exhibit is available to visitors during its display with paid museum admission.
