Lecture "Map Collecting" by Larry Holtzman @ Brownsville Heritage Complex  | Brownsville | Texas | United States

For over 30 years Larry Holtzman has been collecting historic maps, documents, and prints featuring Texas and Mexico. In his lecture, Holtzman will discuss how he began collecting and the importance of maps. A portion of his collection entitled “Mapping the Development of Brownsville”, is currently on display at the Brownsville Heritage Museum. This exhibit displays an array of maps from early settlements of Brownsville to modern times, illustrating not only the growth of our city but the evolution of map making and geographical accuracy.
