The Brownsville Historical Association is continuing with the popular Back to Basics Series and is excited to welcome back Krystal Alanis Linder on Saturday, September 12th at 1pm for an Introduction to Knitting class. The class will take place at the Brownsville Heritage Museum located at 1325 E. Washington. The program is Free for members and $5 for non-members. Participants will need to bring standard knitting needles (6.00MM) and any kind of yarn they wish to use. The program admission includes refreshments during the event. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by calling 956-541-5560.
Krystal Alanis Linder is a local author and artist, as well as an experienced knitter.
This is the second year the Brownsville Historical Association hosts the Back to Basic series. The Back to Basics series focuses on providing participants with the skills to make their own household goods and grow their own food.
