Donated by the collector and curator of cine Mexicano materials Rogelio Agrasánchez, the Agrasánchez Collection of Mexican Cinema showcases posters, lobby cards and still photographs designed for advertising purposes. Spanning from 1936 to 1988, the collection consists of 150 one-sheet movie posters, 400 lobby cards, and approximately 800 movie still photographs, and a portion of this collection will be on display. The exhibition reflects the development of Mexican film production including the “golden age,” 1936-1965, and various genres including comedy, mystery, and fantasy.
