BROWNSVILLE, TX – The first full week of May is annually recognized as National Travel and Tourism Week, a tradition first celebrated in 1984, established by a Congressional joint resolution passed in 1983.

The Brownsville CVB hosted their 3rd Annual Travel & Tourism Fair on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 from 9:00am – 12:00pm at our Scale House Visitors Center, 1700 E 6th Street.

Each visitor received a Passport with a listing of attractions in Brownsville. The participants will have forty-five (45) days, from May 2nd, 2015, to visit all of the attractions and get their passport stamped. Participants will pay regular admission at each location. The completed passports must be submitted back to the BCVB main office by June 15, 2015 before 5:00pm.
