VIEW THE LINEUP: DAY 1 * Day 2 * Day 3

The Brownsville Society for the Performing Arts (BSPA) announces the dates and line-up for the world-renowned Brownsville Latin Jazz Festival, celebrating nineteen years of bringing the world’s most talented musicians in the Latin Jazz genre – and their fans – to Brownsville, Texas.

From Friday October 9 thru Sunday October 11, BSPA will celebrate Latin Jazz with a wide representation of artists whose passion, form, and rhythm both define and represent the greatness, depth, and range of Latin Jazz.

Considered by artists, musicians, fans, and critics alike to be one of the highlight festivals of its kind in the United States, the Brownsville Latin Jazz Festival places a spotlight on the diverse niche genre of Latin Jazz, a beautiful and rich form of jazz whose roots trace back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries and has been growing in form and features ever since.

Building on the foundation of the late great “King of Latin Music” Tito Puente’s vision in 1997, the BSPA has put Brownsville on the map by focusing on Latin Jazz and its rich musical contribution to the greater Jazz tradition with their Annual Brownsville Latin Jazz Festival.
