Rediscover your sense of wonder with Sid the Science Kid! Join KMBH TV and the Children’sMuseum ofBrownsville on March 3, 2012 from 1 to 4 p.m. for a Sid the Science Kid Event.
The event will feature activities from Sid the Science Kid, the award-winning PBS KIDS TV series, produced by The Jim Henson Company and aired on your local PBS station-KMBH TV. Young kids and their parents can explore science up close with hands-on exhibits, science journals, Sid the Science kid giveaways.
Kids will learn how to use their senses and natural curiosity to observe, predict and explore the world around them with numerous interactive science stations. Each gallery will focus on a specific Sid the Science Kid scientific concept, such as tools and measurements, simple machines, the human body, force and motion, and health. This hands-on investigation is a great way for families to learn together. Families will watch clips of Sid episodes and do the corresponding activities together as a family.
