Admission is $5.00 per person 13 months and older. Ms. Judy Berry, a retired educator and a marine biologist presents "Secrets of the Sea". Being so close to South Padre Island, we've all enjoyed dipping our toes in the sand, playing in the waves, building sand castles and hunting for shells. However, many of us struggle to answer our children or grandchildren's questions- such as, "What is sand made of?", "What is inside this shell?" or "What is that purple thing?" The Secrets of the Sea is a program designed to help parents and children answer these questions and hopefully stimulate many more questions. Programs are held the second Saturday of every month at 1:00 pm. The entire program is "hands-on" with half of the program focusing on oceanographic principles and the other half on marine biology. Local animals are brought from the Gulf, letting the children touch and watch their behavior. Our goal is to help children have lost of fun doing "messy" labs that are not done in school. Children make a take home craft to remember their experience. Join us for a memorable experience. |

Come and join Ms. Judy Berry as she reveals the "Secrets of the Sea"! Feb. 14th at 1:00 pm.
