The mission of the Brownsville Convention & Visitors Bureau is to promote leisure and business travel to Brownsville and to increase the awareness of Brownsville as a vacation destination utilizing these programs and services. Familiarization Tours and Site Inspections The BCVB works in coordination with the Texas Economic Development Tourism Division and independently to raise the awareness of travel professionals by organizing trips to Brownsville to see and visit our facilities and services. Toll-Free Information Line The Bureau maintains a toll-free information line valid from around the USA and Canada for the trade and consumers. A toll-free line is available from Mexico. Official Brownsville Visitors Guide The BCVB’s primary print guide is the Official Brownsville Visitors Guide with a total annual circulation of more than 175,000 copies in two languages. Collateral Materials The BCVB produces both electronic and print meeting planner guides. The Visit Brownsville enticement brochure presents a general destination overview. The Brownsville Nature Attractions brochure is a niche piece that describes the Ecotourism offerings. The Brownsville Cultural & Historical Attractions brochure details the heritage offerings. Internet The BCVB has developed this web site with comprehensive and informative approach to destination travel information. Keep checking back for updates and new information.
