Brownsville, TX – The Brownsville Convention & Visitors Bureau has set up a display to showcase some of the items for sale at the Juarez Market located at 1008 E. Elizabeth St. in Brownsville, TX. Some of the items include authentic sombreros, talavera pottery, and authentic women’s dresses from Oaxaca and Puebla with embroidered flower designs.
The market originally located in Matamoros, setup shop at the Majestic Theater in fornt of the Post Office in historic Downtown Brownsville earlier this year. The market features about 25 vendors and items sell at the original price from Matamoros and is in operation Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
